Q: Where can I find TeamViewer's logfiles?
A: The easiest way is to run TeamViewer, click on Extras | Open Logfiles.
You can also browse to it directly:
~/.teamviewer/7/logfiles	(installed version, .rpm or .deb)
    profile/logfiles (tar.gz version)

If this directory does not exist, the following file should provide
 some information:
~/.teamviewer/7/winelog	(installed version, .rpm or .deb)
    profile/winelog (tar.gz version)

Q: Does TeamViewer support text consoles?
A: No, text modes are not supported by TeamViewer.
However, you can use a graphical terminal emulator like xterm or
   konsole.

Q: How can I improve the performance of remote support to Linux-based machines?
A: Performance can be improved greatly if compositing is disabled before
opening the connection. (Compositing is used to achieve various effects like
semi-transparent or wobbly windows.) On KDE, compositing can be toggled with
   the default shortcut Shift+Alt+F12.
